…and pics from the ARN! demo.
yes, already. Life is moving fast today.

It was pretty rad to see Dr. Doug Brown there, the econ professor. He helped me out with that vegetarian article I wrote (aka meatosaurus rex)… and he rides a bike!

Do you know what exaclty whey are doing…the university? In testing? Are they testing chemicals on animals or are they doing physiological testing (running them on a track and trying to find out what how much oxygen is taking in and how much is used in there muscles)? I would like to know more inforamtion on what they do.

we all would. I’m co-writing an article about it with someone else from The Noise. I’ll know more in the next couple weeks.

If there testing is not harming the animals…why protest? Physiological testing only runs them on a treadmill or something similar and has no harm…no chemicals…no eletric shock.

It is our belief that they are hiding something. They’re being really vague and secretive and won’t answer any questions. If they are testing on animals (they call it “animal research”), students who pay tuition should have the right to know where there money is going.
