I’m totally getting some of these…
My tail light recently fell off my bike and shattered on the pavement. Carrying that thing around was just another thing to worry about anyway.
“okay, I’m late; I’ve got my helmet, my head lamp, my lock, gloves, hat, change of shoes…blah blah.” I think these lights are a pretty good partial-solution to the havoc of accessories.

…on the subject of lights…
I’ve been rocking a pair of single led mini’s in the front and rear for quite some time now. The cool part is they don’t break, were cheap, and never get stolen. The bad part is… riding in traffic, you’re less visible… at least to the dummies out there that aren’t really looking. I just keep having people pull out in front of me @ night, even though they seem to be cautious drivers…
My solution? I’m going to break down and get myself some Knog Bullfrog and Toad lights. They seem to be pretty durable, provide a lil more LED power and visibility and review well too. The bar end lights you’re looking at are cool and all, but think about visibility on the road… most of the time the bar end lights are going to be blocked by your bike, your body, etc. They’re awesome auxiliary lights though!
The ones I’m lookin @ are avail at a few nice shops
oh also… here’s a kicker… some really nice versions of the eggbeaters I have just went up on Craigslist for 1/3 their sale price!
