Shultz Fire

We’re entering day 4 of this massive 14,000 acre fire. It might be another two weeks before it’s fully contained. Thanks to Charlie McCallie for this beautiful time-lapse video.

Today, finally, all of Flagstaff wants the Peaks saved.

If you’ve lived in northern Arizona for a few years, you’ll know Katie Lee as a household name. My interview with her was first published last October in High Desert Journal – out of Bend, OR. Taala Hooghan Infoshop, grand opening @ new location

This must be, what, the third new location opening for the Taala Hooghan Infoshop? Another opening party! Sweet. This is a great space, in a neighborhood that really needs a working, all-ages, community space. About a month ago, I spent a day digging out plumbing and pouring concrete to secure the foundation. I haven’t been back since Liberate Earth Day workshops, but I know everyone has been working hard, dry-walling, wiring, painting. I’m looking forward to saturday to see how it’s all progressed.
